Dr. Robert Bernstein graduated from Brandeis University and received his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. He continued his residency at Penn and was retained as an Associate Professor of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Bernstein has special interests in cosmetic dentistry and implants. Dr. Bernstein is currently the President of the American Academy of Dental Group Practices. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and the Southern Dental Society of New Jersey. Dr. Bernstein is an avid skier and always enjoys a competitive game of tennis with his kids.
Dr. Elizabeth Balis received her doctorate from Temple University School of Dentistry. Initially, she found her niche in pediatric dentistry which led to her prominent skills and patience with nervous adults. Dr. Balis is very nurturing and welcomes the use of nitrous oxide for patient comfort. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Balis was voted one of the "Top Dentists" in South Jersey, by South Jersey Magazine. She is fluent in Greek and enjoys family time. Dr. Balis spends her free time cheering for her boys on the ice rink.
Dr. Lilyana Angelova was born and raised in Bulgaria where she graduated with Honors from Sofia Medical University School of Dental Medicine in 2000. She completed an extensive education and training in Oral Surgery and Diagnosis and Treatment of TM Disorders in 2001. Dr. Angelova moved to the U.S.A. in 2003 and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Pennslyvania in 2008 when she was given two awards: award for excellence and research in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Pathology and Radiology and award for excellence in Restorative Dentistry.
At present, she practices General Dentistry in South Jersey - Washington Township Dental Associates and she is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Department of Restorative and preventative sciences of University of Pennsylvania School of dental medicine. She has been recognized by International Association of Dentist physicians as well as the Consumer research Council of America . Member of AGD ( academy of general dentistry ) and AAOM ( American academy of oral medicine) . During her free time, Dr. Angelova enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and participating in the Give Kids a Smile Program.
Dr. Craig Appelstein is an Endodontic specialist. He received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University in 2000. He received his graduate degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004. He completed his residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs of New Jersey in 2005. Dr. Appelstein completed his Endodontic specialty training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. His current professional affiliations include American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontics. Married to wife Jamie, he enjoys cooking, golf and sudoku.
A native of New Jersey, Dr. Meehan completed her undergraduate studies at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her D.M.D. degree from UMDNJ- New Jersey Dental School in 1996. Dr. Meehan then completed a three-year residency program in Periodontics and Implantology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. While there, she also received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. After completion of her training, Dr. Meehan became Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Allied Health, where she developed curriculum and provided clinical instruction to undergraduate dental and dental hygiene students.
Dr. Meehan proudly served her country as a Captain in the Army Reserve Dental Corps stationed in Augusta, Georgia. In 2000, Dr. Meehan became Board Certified in Periodontics in the American Academy of Periodontology. She returned to New Jersey in 2002 and practiced Periodontics in southern New Jersey. In her spare time, Dr. Meehan enjoys spending time with her husband and son, gardening, cooking and walking her two dogs, Abby and Finn.
Dr. Mary-Kay Annuzzi is a Pediatric Dentist who specializes in the treatment of children from infancy to young adults. She graduated from Rowan University and received her doctorate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She proceeded to receive her Specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Episcopal Hospital. In addition, she is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. With her soft spoken manner and astounding patience, she always makes children (and their parents) feel comfortable. She has 3 children and possesses strong family values. She enjoys vacationing with her family on the beach and in the mountains.
Dr. Czachor studied at Rutgers University and completed his dental study at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Newark in the 7 year BA/DMD program. He completed his residency in the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson program. Dr. Czachor is fluent in Polish and was born and raised in New Jersey. In his leisure time, Dr. Czachor enjoys traveling, going to the gym, playing tennis and golf, and is a devout New York sports fan. Dr. Czachor joined our practice in July of 2013.
Dr. Patricia Sansaricq graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with her DMD in 2003 and continued her training with a General Practice residency at Philadelphia's Albert Einstein Hospital in 2004 and a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins in 2006. Each Year she attends extensive continuing education to bring the latest advances in dentistry to her patients. Dr. Sansaricq is committed to comprehensive dental care for the whole family and will treat Special Needs in the O.R. setting. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and various local dental societies. Dr. Sansaricq enjoys hiking, gardening and participating in her children's various activities.
Dr. Hodapp grew up in Southwestern Ohio and attended college at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. She moved to the East Coast to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and receive her DMD. She continued her dental training at the Albert Einstein Medical Center’s General Practice Residency program. Dr. Hodapp enjoys providing her patients with comprehensive dental care and an enjoyable experience, and especially enjoys working with elderly patients. In her free time, she loves trying out new restaurants, going for runs, spending time outdoors and baking.
